The Content and Partner Lifecycle (CPL) Product and Intelligence organization within Prime Video is responsible for CPL product and data strategy. The organization drives product vision, narratives, and data insights for Content Publishing Platform & Tools, Content Supply Chain, Catalog Quality, Localization, Compliance, and Content Understanding in service of both streamers and partners. Within this organization, the Insights & Analytics (IA) team, led by the Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence, develops analytics solutions and data-driven products that influence operations, program, product, and technical strategy across the Prime Video Product and Tech organization.

This IA team leverages analytics engineering and data product management expertise to uncover business insights at scale, ship impactful data products, and innovate on behalf of customers to achieve business goals. The IA team (~30 people) defines and owns Prime Video’s core supply chain metrics, manages the analytics data warehouse, and delivers actionable insights to drive throughput, prioritization, and the PV customer experience across PV Product and Engineering (4K+ people). They build new metrics and reporting by innovating infrastructure. They create and maintain business production metrics, simplify and formalize data flows, and create transparency/baselines for all business metrics. This team expands experimentation and tech efforts for optimization, prediction, machine learning, and other statistical methods towards driving customer engagement and improving/automating decision-making to drive initiatives such as Melville Score deprecation, personalization, duplicate elimination, and A/B testing. Finally, this team drives complex analytics projects that enable business self-service and develops infrastructure that empowers teams to make decisions independently supported by SLAs alongside SOPs for data quality.

The Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence must set strategy for this team by understanding the customer, business, and technical priorities of the internal Product and CPL orgs and of stakeholders their team serves, all in a new organization where process is not yet defined. And they must do so independently. They must take a multifaceted and long-term view of infrastructure that solves multiple use cases, managing the infrastructure, defining the BIE roadmap across CPL, and owning relationships with multiple BIE and Data Engineering teams across Director and VP orgs within PV Product and Tech. This means they must be very close to defining/changing architecture at the technical level and work cross-functionally with Partners, Content teams, Product Teams, Operations, and Engineering to ensure business continuity persists in an ever-evolving environment and Product goals are achieved and measured for success. The Sr. Manager, Analytics contributes to and is accountable
goals, scoping data requirements, establishing baselines, building data pipelines from various systems, developing business logic into datasets, and standing up reporting infrastructure to deliver dashboards, analytical documents, and actionable recommendations. They establish and own their roadmap set with appropriate goals, build
processes that address data integrity and security and measure results to ensure that these are meeting the highest standards.
