Location Name Columbus Corporate Headquarters ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Software QA Analyst develops, implements, and maintains manual and automated quality assurance testing methodologies and systems to ensure the accuracy and stability of software applications. The Sr Software QA Analyst will work closely with QA Lead, Sr QA analysts, Business users, Product Managers, Product Owners, Application development teams, and Subject matter experts to ensure business requirements are met and delivered with high quality. Testing will include Automated, Smoke, Functional, System Integration, End to End and Regression.
Create and maintain testing scripts for all functional features using Egg Plant Automated SoftwareThorough working knowledge of the POS/mPOS/Store Applications and eCommerce ApplicationsEnsure the test environment and associated test data is put into place before test execution and managed during test executionEnsure proper configuration of the testing software and traceability of the tests to the critical business capabilitiesExecute test scripts and record and analyze test execution results and make recommendations for resolutionTracks and communicate application defects in a clear and concise mannerEnsures no defective products are moved into productionWork with team members in prioritizing the bugs and verify the fixesPartner cross-functionally in the design, development, testing and implementationAttends daily stand-up and all other scrum ceremonies with scrum teamReviews and contributes to software program documentation ensuring completeness and accuracyEnsure we stay SOX compliantWorking knowledge of Selenium and other automated toolsPartners cross-functionally in the design, development, testing and implementation phases of assigned projectsTrain associates on the use of automation toolSet up automated framework from scratch for new applications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BA or BS or equivalent experienceYears of Experience: 3 - 5 in software quality assurance or relevant IT experienceExperience working in Retail Domain – POS and eCommerceExperience testing Web, Mobile Web and Native AppsExceptional communication and organizational skillsAbility to clearly communicate to business users, IT development groups, and external vendorsTraining or hands on experience with test management tools such as JiraTraining or hands on experience with programming concepts and languages - PreferredTraining or hands on experience with project execution methods such as waterfall and agile
