Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Prepares and maintains records and files as directed. Cleans and adjusts equipment. Transports patients to and from radiology to all areas of the Hospital. **Essential Key Job Responsibilities** 1. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. 2. Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols. 3. Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals. 4. Supports and reports any identified compliance matters. 5. Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction. 6. Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times. 7. Cleans and checks for malfunctioning of stretchers, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, and I.V. poles according to unit protocol. 1. Attends all required educational programs as well as all Learn modules. 2. Identifies and immediately reports any actual or potential hazard observed in the hospital environment. 3. Contributes to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilizes our resources efficiently. 4. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of equipment within the assigned area. 5. Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards. 6. Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned._ **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience** High school graduate. Must be enrolled as a 2nd year student in a JRCERT accredited School of Radiology. **Required Licensure and Certifications** BLS-CPR required. **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training** Able to use computers. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and readily adapts to changing events in the radiographic environment. **Pay Range** $15.00 - $18.87 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
