Surgery Scheduler (Surgery Center) - Full Time- Beaumont
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Surgery Scheduler position in the Beaumont area.
Job Description:
  Primary roles for a Surgery Scheduler will include the following: scheduling patients for surgery, completing facility paperwork. Scheduling patients for diagnostic tests i.e. bone scan, MRI, CT, EMG/NCS, ESI. Reviewing patient’s meds and health history to determine pre-admission testing. Scheduling appropriate medical and cardiac clearances. Scheduling patient for follow-up appointments and tests. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience – required Must be able to apply written instructions and standardized work practices Must document accurately and concisely - required Must be able to multi task and handle obstacles with outstanding customer service skills - required Must have sound judgment and problem solving skills Must be able to work independently Excellent verbal and writing communication skills - required Must have reliable transportation – will travel Must have a current driver’s license and current auto insurance Clean background and drug screen
