Position Description

To function as a physician extender as part of an orthopedic team to assist in the office and OR. Practice focus on adult and pediatric sports medicine, but also general orthopedics.  Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers (BOC-ATC) Licensed by the Georgia Board of Athletic Trainers (Licensed Athletic Trainer-LAT) Surgical requirements (ATC-OTC-SC). Minimum of 1 year experience in an orthopedic setting.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Orthopedic Technologist-Certified (OTC) thru the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologist (NBCOT)
