We are searching for a System Engineer II, Software Developer, to join our team in support of our Crane Information Technology Support Services customer in Crane, Indiana. The Systems Engineer II, Software Developer, also known as a lead systems analyst, a network engineer who can also program, or a software engineer who can also manage networks, is an IT professional who will oversee the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The systems engineer is responsible for integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices. The duties of a systems engineer typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing resilient software, hardware, and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Candidates should be experienced in supporting the following: Hardware: HP ProBook 640 G2, HP Elitebook 845 G8, Dell Precision 4750, Lexmark CS310dn Software and operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 10, JavaScript, MS Access, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio Code, HTML, CSS, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate Education required: A typical candidate will possess a Bachelor’s level degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience required: Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or software development. Clearance required: Qualified candidates must possess a current Secret clearance. IAT Level required: Candidates must also meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) upon start.
