Job Description (Teacher's Assistant/Paraprofessional): + Teacher Assistant is directly responsible to specific group assignments. + Responsible for implementation of daily and weekly programs as assigned by NYSED certified teacher for each student in assigned group. + Assist in any clerical work (i.e. daily attendance, requisitions, trip lists, graphing data). + Responsible for carrying out daily schedules as developed and planned. + The Teacher Assistant is responsible for participating in in-service training, CPR, behavior analysis training program and completing one book/quiz per month. + Teacher Assistant instructs students in daily proper hygiene habits. + Assists in accompanying students to medical office, and off grounds medical appointments or other services as needed. *MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION BENEFITS *RETIREMENT PLAN* EDUCATION INCENTIVES*LIFE INSURANCE/AD&D*403B PLANS *PAID VACATION, HOLIDAY & SICK TIME FOR ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES.
