Technical Customer Operations Representative
Job Purpose  Provide technical and commercial assistance and application specific information to our customers and internal customer service personnel in order to promote Dana product. : Answer customer and internal customer service product technical inquiries using engineering/production data. Assist in determining how product is to be serviced with assistance from technical service or engineering depts Provide internal departments with corrections to current publications where identified
• Assist customers/Crossville in part dimensional information from prints
• Provide support on quotes for service units, (transmissions, axles, electronic controllers
• Prepare recommended inventory lists for new products/customer applications
• Provide support/participate in product launch/ product phase out/complexity reduction teams
• Propose service parts overhaul kits for specific components/units
• Help promote the sale of these products to our customers
• Provide application specific information
• Provide solutions/solve problems
• Help promote the sale of Dana product
• Create solid customer relations and provide excellent customer satisfaction
• Be a problem solver and information source for the customer, with solutions and data Performs all other duties as assigned Job Duties and Responsibilities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in Engineering or related area experience                                                                      

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Experience and product knowledge of Dana parts Technical aptitude/interest Customer focused Superior communication skills, both oral and written Technical Self-starter, able to accept responsibility and prioritize work load Computer knowledge required Ability to work as a team member Ability to read engineering prints
