POSITION INFORMATION:

Job Purpose:

To supervise a team of Press Operators and ensure that work is performed according to specifications and scheduleTo maintain a safe work environment

Tasks Performed:

Supervise team members in the performance of their dutiesAssign work to team membersUse computer to track work orders and assignments, and to assist in identification of potential problemsMonitor the presses; check settings and fine tune as necessaryIdentify problems and coordinate repairsPage out newspaperEnsure that all team members are appropriately trainedPerform tasks necessary to complete assignments
