TEST PLANNING SPECIALSIT (OSD):
Bowhead seeks a Test Planning Specialist to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Test and Evaluation (JTE&E), Joint Program Office (JPO) supporting Joint/Joint Agency, Combatant Command, and Service joint tests and quick reaction tests.
Responsibilities Conducting test planning in the DoD operational testing and evaluation environment. Executing models and simulations (M&S) to aid in developing and testing TTP through Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) networks as part of a Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (JLVC) environment. LVC architecture servicing the CCMD exercises. Operating or testing in an LVC environment and developing M&S services requirements to meet test event objectives. Observing and analyzing test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures. Providing consultation concerning M&S techniques for the design, development, and planning of M&S use and integration into JT&E projects. Conducting research and coordination and develops program test plans and detailed test plans. Identifying and evaluating commercial and Government-owned simulations to service joint project testing. Advising and assisting in developing the M&S verification, validation, and accreditation planning activities. Qualifications Ten (10+) years’ of experience required. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated strong attention to detail.Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.
