We have an exciting opportunity for a Test & Verification Engineer - Lunar Terrain Vehicle Ground Test Unit to join the team with JETS II Teammate Company, Nexus Solutions.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nWork with NASA Engineering teams to manage the assessment of certification products\nAs part of the larger team, review products such as Test and Verification plans and Qualification Test Reports\nFacilitate review of certification products such as qualification test reports and identify key stakeholders and technical expert reviewers\nReview and approve verification approvals to make sure that all testing requirements have been met\nSupport T&V Forums, Product Assurance Activity (PAA) Forums, Engineering Review Boards, and V&V Panels\nWork in a team environment and report to the team lead to provide status on progress and issues and for support\nFacilitate across various stakeholders to achieve integration of both technical and program objectives\nMaintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors and LTV vendor(s)\nPerform other duties as required to support LTV GTU (Lunar Terrain Vehicle Ground Test Unit)\n\nQualifications\n

Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.\n\nRequires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's degree a minimum of 10-15 years of related experience\nKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection.\nKnowledge of systems engineering principles and associated documentation\nAbility to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings\nMust be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision\nExperience working in a team environment\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products\n\n

Requisition Preferences:\n\nWorking knowledge of NASA and JSC standard practices and requirements including safety, fault tolerance, and unique disciplines\nExperience with the development of space systems requirements documents including Verification and Validation documents\nExperience with the design, assembly, verification, testing, and operation of hardware\nINCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification\nFamiliarity with NASA\/JSC documentation databases and share point sites as well as typical systems engineering products\n
