Responsibilities Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to clients as decided by the treatment plan and document the sessionsDevelop psychotherapy plans with goals and objectivesServe as a member of the treatment teamProvide consultative Services to team members, when appropriateServe as a liaison between Community Youth Services and the biological families of our clients and when appropriate, provide family counseling sessions to the biological family and clientsWhen necessary serve as a liaison between Community Youth Services and other community based treatment professionalsAbide by company policy when receiving a subpoena for records and/or court appearancesAttendance is an essential function of the jobOther job related duties as assigned Qualifications A Master’s Degree in a Human Services fieldWithin two years of October 17, 2007, have at least five years of experience in mental health treatment of children with emotional or behavioral disabilities and their familiesThe employee should have a working knowledge and understanding of culture and its function in human behavior and societyThe employee shall deliver services that are sensitive to client’s culturesThe employee shall demonstrate the ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families in which they are helped to gain the skills and confidence to address any issues and problems they faceAbility to set limits and maintain the helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet the needs of the person(s) served or other family About our Line of Business StepStone Family and Youth Services provides the full spectrum of support to children in need of alternative, safer and more positive living environments with residential and family services.
