Job Description Summary: The Villanova Center for Resilient Water Systems (also known as the Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership) is hiring student interns to assist with flood mapping using remotely sensed data. The position supports ongoing flood mapping research as part of Dr. Smith’s research group. The student intern would complete computational work to support experiments with artificial intelligence and synthetic aperture radar to map floods. Requirements: Attention to detail; able to follow directions; science or engineering major preferred. Previous computational experience a plus. Critical thinking skills in order to work safely in the lab and field. Must be have a computer and be willing to complete repetitive computational tasks.
