Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):
Oversees and ensures timely and appropriate care is provided for a specified group of residents for whom the Unit Manager - RN/LPN is responsibleCoordinates the scheduling of caregivers, resident assessments, and monitors and coordinates other healthcare providers for this select group of residents to ensure appropriate care is provided in a dignified and caring mannerQualifications / Requirements
Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license (RN preferred)If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a supervisory capacityExperience in nursing supervision and care coordination preferredMust have excellent interpersonal and organizational skillsMust have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English languagePer the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonableAdditional Information
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift, Flexible Scheduling; appx. 40 hrs/wk
Wage Range*: $31.00/hr-$34.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Base Wage: $33.00/hr (RN) and $31.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.10/per year, up to ten (10) years
