We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to work full-time or part-time at our Grove City Wellness Center, Tuesday through Saturday.  Our Wellness Centers provide high quality preventive and wellness pet care services including diagnostic testing, vaccinations, preventive medications, microchipping, nail trims and wellness exams.  As a PetIQ Veterinarian, you will get the satisfaction of providing necessary care for pets without the pressures of a full-service veterinary environment. Whether you are a recent graduate or a seasoned Veterinarian looking to further advance veterinary care in our communities, we would like to connect with you. ResponsibilitiesPerforms medical exams and blood draws; administers vaccinations, nail trims and microchipsEducates clients and recommends preventive care and productsFollows up with client calls or emails in regards to their petsCompletes medical records by adding relevant information and history into systemMentors an effective and productive staffClearly understands and delivers VetIQ Petcare medical standards and ethical practicesContinuously strengthens and builds the VetIQ Petcare brandAttend monthly staff training meetingsOther duties or functions as requestedEducation RequirementsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school  Ohio State license to practice in the profession Preferred QualificationsStrong knowledge of Vaccine protocols, intestinal parasites prevention and Heartworm prevention, Heartworm disease in both cats and dogs, Heartworm and flea preventives, and prescription productsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service skills, ensuring accurate and reliable work productStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsCreative, flexible and innovative thinker; management skills to mentor team membersPhysical RequirementsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Minimum QualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school  Ohio State license to practice in the profession
