Northwest Equine Veterinary Associates is a 100% ambulatory equine veterinary practice in search of a Veterinary Assistant for a busy multi-doctor practice.

Job Qualifications:

·       Experienced horse handling skills (required) including trotting, lunging and safe handling of horses under sedation, with applicable reference.

·         Flexible working hours, including evening and weekend on-call rotation.

·         Self motivated.

·         Ability to follow instruction and work under pressure in a team environment.

·         Dependable transportation and valid Washington State driver’s license.

·         Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

·         Basic computer skills, ability to learn new software programs.

·         Strong attention to grammar and spelling.

·         Prior experience in veterinary medicine desirable, but not required.

     The base hourly range for this position is $18 - $20. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
