Workday Optimization Lead – HCM R30859

The Workday HCM Optimization Lead will work alongside the HRIS Director to plan and execute on the organization’s HR Technology roadmap.  The Workday HCM Optimization Lead is a Workday expert with a strong track record of feature adoption who is familiar with leading practices. This position will report to the HRIS Director.

Identify opportunities to drive automation and streamline HR processes in collaboration with functional owners and HRIS team members;

Make recommendations to leadership on opportunities to leverage Workday functionality in new and creative ways;

Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and usage of Workday. Obtain and document requirements for Workday Core HCM and related functionality

Lead/Participate in interactive discussions regarding requirements and possible solutions within the Workday HCM domain;

Collaborate closely with key partners including payroll and IT

Coordinate delivery of Workday solutions across the HRIS team

Design, build and test Workday configuration

Conduct Root Cause Analysis to determine appropriate action plan for break/fix including impacted employees/users/data clean-up;

Manage bi-annual Workday releases

Role model for service excellence and fosters a strong sense of community on the team;

Act as a coach and mentor to HRIS team members

Serves as an escalation point on the HRIS team

Required Experience:

5+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience;

Strong knowledge of Workday reporting, security and EIBs;

At least 2 years of prior experience in a team lead role;

Prior experience leading projects such as bi-annual Workday release;

Prior experience designing Workday solutions to complex business problems

Preferred Experience:

Workday certification is a plus;

Prior consulting experience is a plus;

Prior experience training end users on Workday is a plus;

Healthcare experience is a plus
