#14713 - Data Collection Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptionally well organized Project Manager with extensive experience in conducting in-person video and audio data collection sessions using custom hardware and software.

This is a full time role onsite 5 days a week in Mountain View, CA.

 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the program management team and vendors to efficiently execute data collections

Maintain and organize spreadsheets, logs, and summaries from data collectionsOversee daily logistics using “callsheets,” managing who goes where and their tasks at specific times

Keep inventory spreadsheets for data collection hardware and props up-to-date

Maintain and update the shared calendar, logging out-of-office (OOO) statuses, and shifted schedules

Keep “Open Bugs” List updated with status updates, and links to logs and summaries

Verify the accuracy of spreadsheet information (e.g., consent forms, performed actions, and props) and notify the UXI chatroom for participant incentives

Coordination Tasks:

Coordinate hardware (HW) and software (SW) system upgrades to support data collections.

Prioritize space and data collection hardware usage and storage, including shipping custom crates with data collection rigs

Conduct data collections and coordinate UXI/UXR recruiting to disburse incentives.

Manage vendors for data collection support, including communications via chat messages and emails

Escalate issues related to building, freight elevator, SFO elevator, and room access

Schedule vans for transporting data collection rigs

Verify and edit descriptions and locations for appointment slots

Submit Labs requests and work with prioritization contacts

Confirm package deliveries and coordinate with Google shipping via GUTS

Generate OTS HW purchase orders with the support of designated contacts

Manage day-to-day session tasks and participant logistics, including greeting participants and printing visitor badges

Maintain chatroom and calendar admin rights

Scout rooms and provide photos/videos as needed

Reschedule meetings and maintain the appointment calendar

Verify appointment slots and logs, ensuring all forms are signed and sessions are completed

Pull recruitment lists and manage permissions for Drive/docs/Buganizer

Track inventory with HW serial numbers

 

Must Haves:1) Experience in quality assurance (QA)2) Experience with cameras and lenses and upgrading firmware3) Experience facilitating UXR and Data Collection sessions

 

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of project management experience in fast-paced environments

Experience planning, executing, and organizing audio/visual (A/V) personnel

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Experience coordinating vendors and people in their daily tasks

Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a large van

Insurance coverage to handle Google equipment around Google offices

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in quality assurance (QA)Experience with cameras and lenses and upgrading firmware

Experience facilitating UXR and Data Collection sessions

A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $75,000 - $85,000.
