The Opportunity:
The Social Worker reporting to the Director of Care is a key member of the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating on the delivery of care to meet resident and family needs. The Social Worker provides a range of services to and on behalf of residents, their families, the staff, and the community at large utilizing a holistic framework.
The Social Worker provides services which include a wide range of planned interventions, financial/legal assistance, adjustment support, consultation, counseling, education, and referral following a comprehensive psychosocial assessment.

What You Will Need:
Must be registered as a Social Worker under the Health Professions Act, 2000.Graduate of a recognized school of social work with a Bachelor of Social Work degree.Experience in working with Geriatrics.Familiarity with the multi-disciplinary team concept, skill in teamwork and ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary setting.Ability to initiate and direct own departmental activity.Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.Wage Levelling Salary: $42.27 - $52.81 per hourSalary placement based on qualifications and experience.If you’re motivated by the privilege of serving our seniors with dignity, respect and compassion, come join us!
