Job DescriptionThe software architect will be responsible for setting up the Project Definition of products under mainstream.Responsibilities towards supporting the customer project teams and provide best possible solutions from SW Arch PerspectivesResponsibilities towards understanding the needs for customer project teams and OEM expectationsParticipate in making design decisions and play the role of a key stakeholder in the change control boardMentor, guide, and part know how of software architectural best practices and enforce relevant processes associatedEvaluate risks, estimate proposed changes, provide alternate solutions, and closely work with the development communityMust participate in key reviews and provide suggestions and solutions towards various aspects of software developmentManage technical complexities and must be able to drive, enforce and evaluate best practices with various stakeholders and make process enhancements for the entire development fraternity as needed.Keep a watchful view on current and future architecture trends and drive deployment of state-of-the-art future technical needs within the organization

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Embedded SW development

Good knowledge of software architecture standards, design patterns, architectural style, and technical infrastructure.Experience in object orientation, and hands on with static and dynamic modelling (model driven development skills are a must)Must be able to base software architecture descriptions based on different programming languages (C & C++ is a must)Experience with micro controllerresource management and software performance optimization (multi-core and distributed systems)Know-how of different vehicle architectures and associated systems (AUTOSAR is a must)Know-how of various automotive standards (involving security, safety, connected systems etc.)Handle product related variances and ensure re-usability of the softwareSoft skills to manage stake holders and lead a team of architectsOpenness towards people topics is an added advantage
