You should be a passionate Web Backend Developer Intern with a drive to create exceptional user experiences using Node.js (or similar backend technology, e.g. JAVA), Typescript and familiar with NoSQL database (e.g. Mongo DB). You will be supervised and guided by a senior, working together on a new Desk Booking Web application. You will be responsible for development, debugging and testing on back-end services.

Backend API Development

Develop and maintain backend servicesAssist in the development of new feature and functionality for backend servicesDesign and create NoSQL database models/schemasTest and debug code to ensure the service is fully functionalTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they ariseAct as quality assurance to ensure web application is functional as intendedWork on any web related R&D / POC assignments from your supervisor

QualificationsCandidate ideally possess or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or numerical discipline with strong computing backgroundExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Able to work as part of a global organisation across boundaries - geographically, language and cultural.Good personality, positive mindset and independent.Familiar with Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScriptFamiliar with NoSQL database (e.g. MongoDB)Understand how GIT works and familiar with Github/GitLab.Added advantage -  Familiar with IDE vscodeAdded advantage - Familiar with Docker
