Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Process Engineering Intern will be responsible for critical tasks that directly impact our product development and manufacturing processes. This role demands a high level of precision, analytical thinking, and commitment to excellence.

Strategically plan and meticulously execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for the Solid State Drive (SSD) improvement task force, focusing on enhancing mechanical assembly processes.Actively participate in mechanical design and assembly activities, with a strong emphasis on optimizing manufacturing processes to meet stringent quality standards.Contribute significantly to Engineering Change Notification (ECN) projects, ensuring comprehensive qualification and test plans are developed and implemented for products undergoing critical engineering changes, including End-of-Life (EOL) transitions, material alterations, supplier modifications, or re-tooling initiatives.Develop and maintain precise engineering documentation, including detailed mechanical 2D drawings, comprehensive engineering checklists, and clearly articulated Work Instructions (WI) that adhere to industry best practices and company standards.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Candidates must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Mechanical Engineering or closely related disciplines. It is imperative that academic studies demonstrate a strong foundation in applicable fields of engineering and science.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Candidates should possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

SKILLS:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be a value added for this role.Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with engineering documentation practices are highly desirable.
