[Summary]

As the Clinical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales activities, developing commercial and clinical sales plans, and achieving growth and revenue goals for your assigned region joining Heart Recovery team, JJ Medtech, a leading provider of innovative medical technology in cardiovascular and circulatory support. This includes setting sales targets, hiring and training new employees, establishing effective communication channels, and handling complex negotiations. [Responsibilities]

This role combines leadership in sales with a strong foundation in clinical knowledge, ensuring that both business and patient care objectives are met.

- Team Leadership and Development:

1. Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team, ensuring they provide high-quality in-service support for Impella procedures.

2. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and development opportunities to enhance clinical expertise and customer service.

3. Ensure all Clinical Specialists receive proper training on Abiomed products and maintain a high level of competency in clinical support.

- Sales and Business Growth:

1. Direct sales activities and business plan to fulfill the assigned growth and revenue goals of Korea heart recovery business

2. Manage sales and clinical specialist teams to identify and develop business opportunities within hospitals and clinics.

3. Drive sales growth by aligning clinical expertise with sales strategies, focusing on expanding Abiomed product usage across key accounts.

4. Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in hospitals to promote Impella devices and support clinical decision-making.


- Clinical Support and In-Service Training:

1. Maintain the ability to step in and provide on-site clinical case support.

2. Complete the same clinical training as Clinical Specialists, ensuring readiness to assist in high-pressure, time-sensitive medical environments.

3. Support the team in complex cases, troubleshooting issues when necessary and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and healthcare providers.

- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

1. Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align clinical strategies with business objectives.

2. Collaborate with the regional/global Abiomed team to align market strategies and connect recourses.

3. Provide insights and feedback from the field to help inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales approaches.

- Customer Relationship Management:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, hospital staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

2. Provide support and guidance to customers on the usage of Abiomed products, including updates on new technologies and advancements.

- Education and Training:

1. Ensure that all clinical and sales teams are up-to-date with the latest Abiomed products and procedures by organizing regular training sessions.

2. Lead in-service training programs for healthcare providers to enhance their understanding and use of Impella devices.

3. Identify educational needs for both internal teams and external stakeholders, developing tailored training programs as required.

- Emergency Response and Availability:

1. Be available to respond to urgent clinical situations, providing immediate on-site support when needed.

2. Maintain flexibility in schedule to address time-sensitive issues that may arise during procedures, including evenings or weekends if required.

- Reporting and Analysis:

1. Monitor clinical and sales performance metrics, analyzing trends, and providing reports to senior management.

2. Ensure accurate documentation of clinical support provided, including procedural outcomes, feedback, and troubleshooting efforts.

[Requirements]

- Bachelor's degree

- 8~10 years’ experience in medical device cardiovascular space is a must.

- 5 years of management experience of a field commercial team is required.

- EVAR, TVAR experience is preferred.

- Proven track record of success in managing a growing sales team.

- Proven experience in a clinical sales or managerial role, ideally within the cardiovascular or medical device industry.

- Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members. Ability to negotiate and influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.

- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage both clinical and sales teams effectively.

- Strategic selling skills. Ability to exercise judgment in selecting, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively and proficiency.

- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage both clinical and sales teams effectively.

- Fluent English and great communication skills to inspire team and customers

- Willingness to travel frequently and provide on-site support when needed.
