Main Tasks:
- Perform Transportation and distribution safety reviews in order to check the Transportation and distribution safety activities are in compliance with regulations and BASF requirements.
- Work as a company consultant for every related issue. The role shall also influence the company's compliance with all relevant activities; for instance :
- Influence BASF's methods for the procurement of transportation equipment (e.g. trucks, rail tank car, load lock bars, load securing devices, etc.) for the transportation of goods
- Procedures for checking the equipment used in connection with the transport, loading or unloading of goods
- Proper training of BASF's employees and the maintenance of records of such training (instruction of staff by the RPs)
- The implementation of comprehensive emergency procedures for dealing with any accident or incident that may affect safety during the transport, loading or unloading of goods
- Investigation and, where appropriate, preparing reports on serious accidents, incidents or serious nonconformance logged against legal and/or BASF requirements recorded during the transport, loading or unloading of goods
- The implementation of appropriate measures to avoid the recurrence of accidents, incidents or serious infringements
- Ensure legal and product specific special requirements associated with the transport of goods are included in the evaluation, selection and use of sub-contractors or third parties.
- The verification (process) that ensures employees involved in the transport, loading or unloading of goods have detailed operational procedures and instructions
The introduction of measures to increase awareness of the risks inherent in the transport, loading and unloading of goods
- The implementation of verification procedures to ensure the presence, on board the means of transport, of the documents and safety equipment that must accompany transport. Also ensure the compliance of such documents and equipment with the regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor or above majored in chemical/safety related area
- At least 6 years working experience in transportation, production, engineering or EHS area.
- English and Chinese Proficiency Skills: Able to converse about job-related matters
- Be familiar with the laws and regulation on EHS management of chemicals industry, Certified safety engineer is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office
