Summary:
Seeking an SCM Advisor to drive contracting work progress, support contract strategy development, and enhance procurement activities, ensuring materials and services availability at competitive prices.

Job Requirements:

Post-secondary education required, with a preference for a relevant degree (business, supply chain management, or technical fields supporting the oil & gas industry). Minimum of four years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM), covering procurement, material management, master data, with a focus on contracting and supplier management. Extensive experience and proficiency with SAP systems (SAP S4, Ariba, Fieldglass) preferred. Strong advisory skills with the ability to advise leaders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Expertise in SCM practices and processes, including training, preparation, and practical experience. Experience in contract/category strategy formation and implementation. Proficiency in managing supplier performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive contracting work progress at the site level, including sourcing, clarifications, evaluation, negotiation, recommendation, and awarding of contracts. Contribute to the development and execution of contract/category strategies with input from business demand. Support contract rollout and compliance, including evaluating and reporting on KPIs, providing training sessions, and offering ad-hoc support to site users. Improve the Procurement Reference Tool (Category Strategy) and proactively monitor and update contracts as needed. Participate in the development of contract workplans on a 1-3 year time horizon. Support supplier management activities, including performance monitoring, KPI measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive cost savings and cost avoidance through strategic agreements and active contract adherence monitoring. Provide guidance to supply chain peers and the business on contract strategy, legal interpretation, and related matters. Support incident investigations and troubleshooting with key contracted suppliers. Complete system-based contract administration, including document upload and workflow, as well as updating rates, material masters, and service masters. Support procurement activities as needed.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
