What you’ll do

Partner with the Global and Site Commodity Leaders in the development of the Small Parts & Raw Materials supply chain and negotiation strategies Consolidate and communicate demand forecasts from business units and sitesSupport Global and Site Commodity Leader on competitive intelligence, pricing analytics, should-cost or price regression opportunities to support strategy development and to establish baseline product costs and target pricing analyticsPartner with Commodity Executive to create and maintain standard work for all key processes of the commodity teamOwn monthly KPI reporting / Bowler management for the commodity groupOwn and drive regular SLT updates for the entire group, identify and action gaps and risksOwn taxonomy accuracy / parts assignment across Global and Site Commodity Leaders for strategic ownershipCo-ordinate maintenance of negotiated vendor price repository across Global and Site Commodity LeadersOwn, maintain and develop all purchasing systems and their uptime for SPRM scope, active collaboration with IT and other teams expected to represent SPRM prioritiesOwn, maintain and develop Long Range Forecast process and tool for the entire team, to project cost, volume, market and capacity trends of commodityOwn the handoff of negotiated vendor pricing / terms and LTA's to the Procurement and Materials team, co-ordinate price upload process Own leakage control, ensure negotiated pricing is leveraged, minimize savings leakage, track contract compliance executionIdentify Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) opportunities from the business

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Business or Technical University degreeSignificant experience in strategic global sourcingDemonstrated manufacturing and negotiations experienceRelevant experience in Small Mechanical Parts or related commodity management and analyticsFluent English AND Hungarian language knowledgeUnderstand the services standard work and their purchasing processes and toolsUnderstand all ERP systems and reporting capabilities of GAS Power and GE VernovaAbility to work in a cross-functional matrix organization.Self-starter, resourceful, team builder and a leader.
