What you will do 
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Survey Planning Coordinator will manage deliverables for our business and consumer surveys, including understanding priorities and timelines, creating and maintaining a calendar of tasks, and working with the Regional Directors to ensure tasks are complete and risks controlled. In collaboration with the Assistant Director and a second Survey Planning Coordinator, you will create strategies, plans and procedures to achieve those goals. 

 

Specifically, you will:

Take accountability for reaching the recruiting targets for the Business Outlook Survey and Business Leaders’ Pulse panels. This is achieved through a combination of direct panel outreach (around 50% of the Survey Planning Coordinator’s time).  You will direct panel outreach including generating leads using various databases and other sources, verifying leads by phone calls or other methods, sending emails to leads and following up by phone with those who do not respond. Planing, coordinating and monitoring the work of the panel coordinators (made of research assistants, executive administrative assistants, survey analysts and students). 

 

In addition, you will:

Create and update documentation and conduct training of panel coordinators.  Create and allocate lists of potential leads and follow-up activities, adjusting at any time to ensure the overall objectives are achieved.  Verify the work of panel coordinators, correct errors and provide feedback to maintain a high quality of leads and maximize the response rate for our surveys.  Manage and update various contact databases and reports related to our panels.  

 

What you need to succeed
You are an organized person who has the ability to multi-task and make sound decisions and recommendations. You are flexible, self-motivated and take initiative. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You have experience in project management as well as knowledge of operational deadlines, requirements and policies. You  have strong technical skills with the Microsoft Suite. You have the ability to maintain accuracy and provide special attention to detail, even as priorities change and urgencies intervene.

Your education and experience
The position requires a college degree, 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

 

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French.  The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional).  If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level.  Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Remote work / Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office. For this position, should you not live within reasonable commuting distance of the office, you will be able to work 100% remote (within Canada) for the duration of this term.

Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $64,881 to $76,331 (job grade 13)
