Job Description Insight Global is looking for a C# Developer to join one of our Electrical Distributor clients, headquartered in Irving, TX. They are looking for a talented developer that specializes in business analytic tools to join our development teams in delivering high quality software. This individual will start on their production support team in order to learn their environment, then will join the development team. The developer will work closely with program managers, product owners, and scrum teams to build custom reporting software. Job Responsibilities * Design and develop new features for client-server applications. * Work collaboratively with scrum teams and product owners to identify new features and squash bugs. * Coordinate with scrum teams to report progress, enhancements, and defects to key stakeholders. * Participates in all aspects of development cycle. Skills and Requirements o C# with .NET Framework v4.8.0+ (Creating testable code and writing unit tests) o Object-oriented programming using C# in Visual Studio IDE o Experience with protocol buffers between gRPC client and gRPC server o T-SQL (Stored procedures, Complex joins, inserts, updates, optimization techniques, Experience with normalization and relational database design, Experience with database projects in Visual Studio) o GIT Repositories leveraging Microsoft DevOps o Must be extremely organized, motivated, and work with a sense of urgency o Must be an expert in debugging code o SSRS experience o Business Analytic Tools (like Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy) o Front end development (WinForms, Blazor, Angular) o Testing Frameworks (Moq, NUnit, Selenium) o ETL using C# and/or SSIS o Wholesale distribution industry o Software design patterns (MVP) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
