What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Developer to join our Department of State team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, specifically with Microsoft technologies, and will play a key role in creating applications. This role requires a proactive individual with leadership qualities and project management skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and create applications using Microsoft .NET, MVC (Model-View-Controller), C#, React, PHP, SharePoint 2016, and Office 365 (SharePoint Online and Power Platform). Act as a member of a delivery team by supporting teammates and collaborating with a “do what it takes” attitude to ensure success. Learn and apply best practices to document tickets, resolutions, release notes, code, and scripts. Work closely with other developers and analysts to ensure development meets requirements and delivers optimal performance to our end users. Participate in system requirements/design discussions and development plans. Attend and participate in all team ceremonies including standups, retros, planning and team meetings. Provide production support, fill ad-hoc data requests, and assist in the refinement of existing implementations in support of WWT's master data management applications. Actively participate in testing (regression testing, unit testing, code reviews, and assisting analysts with functional testing). Develop an understanding of the current tools, solutions, and data structures. Participate in the development and support of interfaces between applications.
