Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose functional issues, report bugs, and take ownership of issue resolution for their web-based technologies.

Work closely with developers to design test criteria and develop automated tests.Review functional requirements, design documents, and bug descriptions.Create and maintain automated test cases for mobile applications.Document, track, and reports on product defects.Research and investigate new automation technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relative field, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in a Test Development and/or Test Automation role.Demonstrated experience working in Agile development environments (preferably Scrum).Experience with testing web-based technologies is required.    Proficiency with one or more programming/scripting languages is required (JavaScript, VBScript, Python, C++, Java, Ruby, VB .NET).Hands-on testing experience with Windows, UNIX and/or Linux operating systems and mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows).Proficiency with SQL and database query tools.Strong experience with building automation scripts and/or programs using tools such as (Coded UI, Cucumber, QTP Script and Build Frameworks, LoadRunner, Quality Center).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff are a requirement.
