The Operations & Corporate unit (ITSOC) is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of IT-enabled business solutions. Our team provides IT support for the Development Economics (DEC) department for the multiple Open Data platforms and tools that are being enhanced to build a more usable, functional, and robust open data publishing, browsing, collecting system. These activities will leverage the existing work done on systems that are currently part of the Open Data platform.

Duties and Accountabilities
• Solve complex technical challenges such as integrating multiple data systems via multiple protocols.
• Experience conducting testing to ensure accurate and efficient data transformations.
• Ability to produce technical implementation plans and effort estimates.
• Support the development, operation and maintenance of the following systems; Data Exchange, Databank, new and existing data topic portals, Microdata Editor & Survey Registry, and other as needed.
• Generate documentation and technical reference materials for the above activities.

Specific Requirements:
• 7+ years combined solid experience in web development using .NET and Microsoft SQL server
• Enterprise level experience writing code in .NET, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, JASON, Angular, React, Node.js, PHP
• Advanced Knowledge of HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, XML etc.
• Preferred experience and familiarity with:
o Development and statistical data
o General World Bank IT environment
• DEC data products - Data Exchange, Databank, new and existing data topic portals, Microdata Editor & Survey Registry, and other as needed.
