Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a proficient .NET Developer in the Government sector based in Coconut Creek, Florida. The selected candidate will be tasked with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of .NET web applications, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and refactor code for .NET web applications. • Analyze user requirements and develop technical solutions to meet these needs. • Ensure the efficient performance of databases, including monitoring stored procedures and execution time. • Provide support to various business applications including ERP, EDMS, and web applications. • Create comprehensive application and business process documentation. • Stay informed about current technologies and technical developments. • Act as a liaison for users, prioritizing issues internally and coordinating with staff/vendors for timely resolution. • Communicate effectively with both internal and external users. • Provide technical support and administration for the City's internet and intranet sites. • Provide feedback to IT managers and customers as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Backend Development, with proven experience in designing and implementing effective systems. • Extensive knowledge of API Development, capable of building and maintaining secure and efficient APIs. • Excellent command over programming languages such as ASP.NET, C# - Sharp, .NET, and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET). • Demonstrable experience in SQL and Microsoft SQL, exhibiting proficiency in writing complex queries and database management. • Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC Framework, with the ability to build robust and scalable applications. • Prior experience working in the Government sector, understanding its unique requirements and challenges. • Capacity to collaborate with a team, showcasing strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently. • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
