Job Title: Senior Web Developer
Location: Naperville, IL (On-site)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in Optimizely (formerly Episerver) CMS to join our development team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is focused on back-end development for the content management system, working with the design and development teams to implement and roll out features for our website. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in .NET development with specific expertise in Optimizely CMS, though experience with other CMS platforms is also considered. You will work closely with internal teams, including front-end developers and designers, to help deliver high-quality digital solutions.
This is a back-end development position where you will be expected to hit the ground running, applying your Optimizely CMS knowledge to work independently while collaborating with other team members to deliver robust, scalable content management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain the back-end of our website, leveraging .NET C# and Optimizely CMS technology.
+ Implement and optimize content management solutions, ensuring efficient, scalable, and user-friendly systems.
+ Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of content and functionality across digital platforms.
+ Work with Optimizely’s DXP (Digital Experience Platform) for managed hosting and deliver smooth, scalable CMS experiences.
+ Ensure that content management workflows, publishing processes, and back-end operations are streamlined and efficient for end users.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Optimizely CMS integrations, performance, and functionality.
+ Work relatively independently, taking initiative in development tasks and collaborating with teams for larger initiatives.
+ Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deploying .NET applications to ensure quality and maintainability.
+ Provide technical expertise and recommendations regarding the CMS, helping to implement new features and capabilities as needed.
+ Act as a subject matter expert for Optimizely within the development team, ensuring the technology is used effectively and consistently.
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer, with strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and Optimizely.
+ Proven experience with Optimizely CMS (Episerver), including back-end configuration, development, and implementation.
+ Familiarity with Optimizely DXP and managed hosting services.
+ Experience integrating CMS with various front-end technologies and databases.
+ Solid understanding of web development, APIs, and service integrations.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
+ Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
+ A keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code and user experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
+ Experience working in a finance or investment management environment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
