.Net Developer Intern

This position is for a summer intern software developer using C#.Net and SQL Server. The employee will be given some tasks to help advance our product, something that can be accomplished in a short time and allow the employee to gain some experience in developing a commercial software project. This position is remote.

Technical responsibilities:

Assisted in application development: Collaborated with the development team to design, code, and test .NET applications, enhancing functionality and user experience.Participated in code reviews: Contributed to peer reviews of code to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.Developed user interfaces: Assisted in building responsive and user-friendly web applications using ASP.NET and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Worked with databases: Gained experience in SQL Server, including writing queries, optimizing database performance, and integrating data with .NET applications.Troubleshot and debugged applications: Identified and resolved software defects and issues in existing applications, enhancing performance and reliability.Learned about software development methodologies: Gained exposure to Agile practices and participated in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Documented technical specifications: Created and maintained documentation for code, APIs, and application architecture to support team collaboration.Explored .NET frameworks: Gained hands-on experience with .NET Core, Entity Framework, and other related technologies to build scalable applications.Engaged in continuous learning: Actively pursued new skills and knowledge in .NET development through online courses, workshops, and mentorship.
