Amentum is currently seeking a **.NET Programmer** to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems. You will be a part of a team that develops solutions to support automation and data engineering in our end-to-end manufacturing environment. **As a member of the team, you will:** Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis. Assist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code and integrate and test software components. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must have a Bachelors degree and 6 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 9 years of experience OR a High School degree/ GED and 12 years of experience OR equivalent. + Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance. + At least 3 years of programming in .Net experience. + Expertise in ASP.NET MVC and Web API for building scalable web applications, with proficiency in C# and Entity Framework (including Entity Framework Core) for data access and manipulation. + Strong understanding of 3-tier architecture and familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap for responsive design. + Experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS preprocessors, as well as frameworks like Angular or React for dynamic single-page applications. + Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT). **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with SQL Server, including performance tuning, optimization of complex queries, and the ability to design and implement stored procedures, triggers, and views. + Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications. + Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving software issues. + Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
