Key Responsibilities
The Applications Developer, Senior will be involved in the planning, developing, testing and documentation applying knowledge of web applications development technologies in the development of a non-trivial complex military web-based software application. Developers will design, build, test and maintain the software. Developers are required to design and build software based on specifications of given requirements. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret requirements into highly functional deliverables. Developers are required to document their code both internally as well as externally for software documentation and user manual purposes.
The developer position requires competence in the following languages:
· C# (C Sharp)
· ASP.NET
· ADO.NET
· HTML
· XHTML
· Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
· Transact SQL (T-SQL)
· JavaScript
Personnel requirements – Ideal candidate must have the following:
· BS in Computer Science or other IT field required.
· .NET Framework authoritative knowledge.
· C# programming language authoritative knowledge.
· Team Foundation Server development authoritative knowledge.
· 8 years hands-on experience in technical design, dev and deployment of Web-based Apps.
· .NET Framework 4.5 and familiar with changes in 4.5.1.
· Visual Studio Team System 2012/2013.
· ASP.NET and C#.
· AJAX
· Database technologies (SQL Server 2008r2).
· Knowledge of web services.
· Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and application of agile software development methodologies and processes.
· Experience on one of the following systems desired: TAMIS, SAAS-MOD, GCSS-A, GCSS-MC, OIS-MC Tactical, FMSWeb, AOS or WebAmmo.
· Active DoD Secret Clearance
