The Office of the State Superintendent of Education’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer is seeking Developer Level 3 for a project with the Division of Wellness and Nutrition Services to develop a custom web-based application. The position is for a senior level developer with experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application development projects, with a concentration on Front-End, Application, and Service design and development. The position will be responsible for all Technical Design Documentation and artifacts involved in the project, designing the Application Architecture of the system within an Model-View-Control (MVC) design framework, co-designing and developing services for interfacing with the data layer, and developing dashboards and reports and reports customized to specific groups, roles, and users of the target system. The Office seeks a candidate that possesses at minimum twelve years of experience in developing web-based applications leveraging Microsoft’s .NET Framework and experiences and knowledge sets including, but not limited to SOA, MVC, and/or MVVM Architectures, Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) Methodologies, Rapid Application Development (RAD), Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies, security protocols and schemes on data-sensitive systems, Test Data-Driven (TDD) and Unit Test Framework, Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, and programming languages including C#, LINQ, JSON, SOAP, REST, WebAPI/ASP.NET, AJAX, Jquery, AngularJS, HTML4/5, CSS/CSS3, BootStrap, and JavaScript.
