.Net Software Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into efficient technical solutions. Design, develop, and implement user-friendly, scalable, and high-quality software applications using Microsoft stack including .NET 6, C# and Angular. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, principles, and best practices. Continuously optimize application performance through monitoring, profiling, and fine-tuning. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems. Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with QA engineers to implement robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members whenever required. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven working experience as a .NET Software Engineer, specializing in C# and Angular 14.0+ Strong programming skills in .NET C#  Experience in Angular 14.0+ with expertise in building reactive web applications. Experience in designing and developing Restful APIs and working with Web Services (SOAP/REST). Solid understanding of RDBMS principles, SQL, and database design concepts. Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code.

The following will be considered a plus:

Experience in the Insurance or Banking Sectors. Experience in Unit Testing (xUnit).
