Job Description:
Provide daily support to existing web applications.
Participate in the full life cycle of development (define, develop, test, install, and maintain) of existing applications as well as new initiatives.
The Web Developer must be able to manage development activities from the planning phase through the implementation phase.
Will interface with other team members, management, and end-users on a regular basis.
Project:
Enhancing their web site – help revamp existing apps and new apps.
Skills:
ASP.Net
VB.Net – language to write code
C# is nice but not required.
Some Silverlight experience is required but does not need to be recent.
Knowledge of database concepts i.e. SQL Server 2005.
Will be moving to SQL Server 2008 but not immediately any experience in SQL Server 2008 is helpful but not required.
Must have experience writing queries and with stored procedures.
Experience with supporting technologies such as Javascript and Ajax which is important skill because they use this when creating web pages.
