022365 Summit Maintenance Mechanic
Responsible for maintaining and repairing high-speed metal stamping presses and auxiliary equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Use hand and power tools to maintain electrical and mechanical performance of all stamping presses and auxiliary equipment. Maintain sufficient inventory of spare components, ISO documentation and maintenance logs. Direct activities of helpers as needed. Perform daily preventive maintenance activities. Identify and troubleshoot all areas of concern. Will work with blueprints, shop drawings, and electrical diagrams. Must be fork-truck certified. Follow good housekeeping procedures. Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. A high school diploma is required; formal technical training preferred. Position involves frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, reaching and frequent standing. Will climb ladders, use scissor lift, fork truck and crawl and lie beneath metal stamping presses (similar to auto mechanic), working on back with hand tools. Must have excellent visual acuity and ability to hear well.
