In this role, you will be responsible for conducting finite element analysis to evaluate the structural integrity of various materials and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs and ensure high performance and reliability of products. This position requires a deep understanding of material properties, mechanical behavior, and simulation methodologies. **Detailed Description** Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) (both static and dynamic) on materials, components and system of the switch/storage/rack. • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize designs with FEA simulation guidance. • Evaluate the structural integrity and performance of components • Prepare and present technical reports and findings for both internal and external customers. • Contribute to the development and refinement of simulation methodologies • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. **Knowledge/Skills/Competencies** Refer to technical skills below • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) • ANSYS • Abaqus • Material Properties • Mechanical Behavior • Simulation Methodologies • Technical Reporting • CAD Software(Creo) • Problem-Solving • Collaboration **Physical Demands** + Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. + Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. + Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required. + Occasional travel may be required. **Typical Experience** + 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry. **Typical Education** Master degree of Mechanical engineering/ Material engineering or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
