100% Travel Cable Technician Site Survey
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled travel technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, gathering information, and maintaining network equipment. This role requires the use of scissor lifts and involves cleaning equipment. This position is 100% travel. They will need to get to Northwest Arkansas on their own dime, then they will be equipped with a company vehicle, gas card and daily per diem for lodging and meals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct two different surveys: Gather information and take photos of existing Access Points (AP). Gather photos and information on existing network closets. Clean off network equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize scissor lifts safely and effectively to access equipment. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks. Skills Cable, Low voltage, Wireless access point, network device, network cabling, Punchdown, Cat6, Cat5, Install, Cable installation Additional Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in a similar role. Proficiency in using scissor lifts. Strong attention to detail. Ability to clean and maintain network equipment. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with network equipment and infrastructure. Familiarity with survey tools and techniques. Work Environment: This role may require working at heights using scissor lifts. The position involves physical activity, including cleaning and maintaining equipment. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
