Position Summary

The Donor Relations Associate performs a variety of administrative functions primarily in support of the Donor Relations Directors in the daily operations related to major gifts.

Essential Functions

Provide administrative support to Major Gift Officers as assigned including the management of calendars, confidential files and reports, screening calls, processing mail, data research. Provide general support as needed: including the management of calendars, meetings, preparing reports, responding to phone inquiries. Coordinate special projects as needed. Communicate with Corps officers as needed to gather information and data or coordinate events. Coordinate and implement MGO mailings as requested. Update donor records in Portfolio as needed or requested. Create acknowledgements for donors as directed. Support the Communications & Marketing Team as requested with special or seasonal projects or programs. Manage all forms of communication in the absence of the Major Gift Officer as needed. Process mail and print donor files and prepare any other reports as requested. Assist in donor research. Coordinate meetings. prepare agendas and create minutes as requested Perform any additional tasks as deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the department. Any other duties as assigned.

PAY RANGE: $23.00-$28.00/HR

Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to

be able to lift up to 10 lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinets drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in an administrative support position. Associate degree in a related preferred Experience in a high-pressure work environment, structures or assignments as needed. Ability to meet deadlines and perform work with high level of performance expectations. Experience working with the public, outside vendors and customers. Good customer relations experience. High degree of experience in use of computer applications and platforms including data base management software and basic office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint or the equivalents)

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Driving Test and clean MVR check (if applicable). If working in vicinity of children a criminal background check is required with Certification for Protect the Mission policies and procedures
