Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Kettle Coordinator is to support the Corps Officer during the kettle season with various kettle actives. 

Essential Functions

Conduct kettle Orientation for employees and volunteers Prepare proper paperwork for all Seasonal Kettle employees Accurately enter all needed information into kettle program employee and campaign related. Recruit and assign volunteers and /or service clubs to various kettle locations. Prepare kettle schedules daily-assign employees in such a manner as to maximize net income Take inventory of all Kettle equipment, ensure any broken equipment is reported and replaced if necessary. Prepare Schedule route for Kettle Driver Respond to any complaints received by stores “Kettle” locations Supervise, train and discipline employees as required Prepare kettle income for deposit. Make Bank Deposit in compliance with TSA Policy Arrange for Angel Trees to be set-up in stores Assist with activities concerning toy donations Kettle Driver regularly or as needed On time Regular attendance is a must

Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.  Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead.  Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications    

High School Diploma or GED 1-2-year clerical experience Pervious Kettle experience a plus Valid Driver’s License Bilingual in Corps location language a plus
