Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed work. Perform quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
ResponsibilitiesUses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.Essential SkillsIPC-610 Certification or trainingSoldering experienceSMT ExperienceGood manual dexterityStrong mechanical build experience accurately interpreting written work instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagramsExperience in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environmentMust have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position and have above average surface mount and fine pitch soldering skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized manufacturing facility that emphasizes safety. The facility is climate controlled, air-conditioned, and well spaced out, allowing employees their own work stations. Hours for 1st shift are 5:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday with Fridays/Weekends scheduled off.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
