Staff Management is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Welder - Brazing Technician. 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm OT required as needed2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:00pm-1030pm OT required as needed

Duties included but are not limited to -

Cutting all required piping and pipe preparation.Collecting the required parts based on pick lists.Brazing sub-assemblies.Assembling components and sub-assemblies and installing same into units.Laying out piping routes in the unit including structural security.Knowledge of hand and power tools such as tube cutters/benders, files, tube reamers, pressure regulators, brazing techniques, vacuum pumps, and refrigerant chargingReading and interpreting schematics (drawings or diagrams)Safety managementDecision making and judgementCommunication skillsSelf-motivation skillsIndependent, but must be able to collaborate with teamAnalytical skills and problem solving skillsIndependent, but must be able to collaborate with team

Must be able to work in fast paced environment. Must be able to work in a heated or cooled confined spaces. Must be able to work in a loud production setting. Extensive standing and/or sitting possible. Applicant but be able to push/pull/lift equipment and materials up to 50 lbs. Applicant must possesses the manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.

Follow departmental procedures, company policies and instructions made by the Production ManagerUnderstand, interpret, and perform duties according to piping diagrams, prints, direction of flow, pipe sizing, location of components, etc.Install refrigeration components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors, blowers, and pumpsInstall and connect piping and tubing for refrigeration and air conditioning systemsPerform pressure test, evacuate, and charge refrigeration systemAttend, understand, and observe trainings providedContributes, supports, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as neededPerform additional duties that may be given or assigned from time to time or as needed due to the demand of businessMaintains safe and clean working environment according to OSHA and as instructed by the manager to comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsObserve all company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism and good performanceHS Diploma required2+ years mechanical assembly experience, or related experience or degree preferredCertification to AWS B2.2/2.2M is a plusRefrigeration experience preferred3+ years brazing assembly experienceExperience working in a fast paced, minimum supervision environmentRecent graduates okay, but must be trainable and willing to learnMust be able to demonstrate knowledge and installation of refrigeration and heating systemsMust be able to read basic and complexed diagrams, schematics, and/or diagramsMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesFlexible for possible transfers due to demand of work 

Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.00 - $24.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
