CNC Utility Worker

1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm

Pay starts at $20.00/hour

Eligible for quarterly bonuses

Job Summary:

The CNC Utility Worker keeps the machines and its surrounding area clean. They may also perform routine maintenance on the equipment in the CNC department.

Job Responsibilities:

CNC machine clean out Horizontal mills, Vertical mills, and Lathes.Machine coolant replacementCNC chip blaster/ coolant clean outGeneral MaintenanceDouble disk grind barrel replacementBasic maintenance/help with water jet clean outDaily general maintenance will be required to check and replace filters, clean out chips and debris, and change or fill coolant on CNC equipment.Additional duties: sweeping, mopping, cleaning general CNC area and wiping down machines as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to use hand cleaning tools.Ability to use power cleaning tools.Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly.Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience preferred.On-the-job training provided.
