**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - DAY SHIFT** **Additional Information/Pay/Shift** + Direct Hire + Shift: 1st Shift - 7 AM to 5 PM + **Pay: $25.00 - $28.00/hr. We also provide tuition reimbursement, paid education and certification plans, and vacation time after six months. **Job Description** + We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. + You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing Freightliner and Volvo semi-trucks and trailers. + Our fleet consists of 100 tractors and 200 trailers. + You will perform a variety of repairs on trucks and trailers, including intakes, radiators, air conditioning compressors, oil pans, steering gears, and more. + Additionally, you will troubleshoot electrical issues, perform aftermarket treatments on engines, and use basic computer skills to update progress and send emails. **Perfect Candidate:** + 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience. + Ability to replace tires and change brakes. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues on tractors and trailers. + Experience with bumper-to-bumper repairs **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
