Volt is immediately hiring for a Forklift Operator in Houston, TX.

\r\n\r\n

As a Forklift Operator you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOperate forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.\r\n\tLoading and Unloading: Load and unload shipments, stacking items securely and efficiently.\r\n\tSafety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established guidelines.\r\n\tEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues promptly.\r\n\tBilingual Communication: Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with team members, supervisors, and other staff.\r\n\tQuality Control: Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies.\r\n\tEfficiency and Productivity: Optimize load placement to maximize warehouse space and minimize handling time.\r\n\tDocumentation: Complete necessary paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience: Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.\r\n\tBilingual Skills: Proficient in both English and Spanish.\r\n\tPhysical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.\r\n\tAttention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying damages or irregularities.\r\n\tTeam Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and follow instructions.\r\n\tSafety-Conscious: Prioritize safety at all times.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $17.00 hourly
