**Job Title: General Helper - Shift General Production** **Job Description** A manufacturing company specializing in packaging supplies (boxes) is seeking a General Helper to perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials that go into manufacturing equipment for the corrugated industry. **Responsibilities** + Move material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. + Lift, push, and pull material off the conveyor belt that runs through the production line. + Sort and place materials up to 20 pounds or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code. + Count items to ensure conformance to company standards. + Mark materials with identifying information. + Open bales, crates, or other containers if needed. + Record the amount of materials or items received or distributed. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. + Ability to write short correspondence. + Comfortability with manufacturing production work environment. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive benefits including 401K, medical, dental, and vision insurance. Safety ear plugs, safety glasses, vests, and masks are provided. Must be comfortable with bending, lifting, and twisting repetitively to move material throughout the facility. Work hours are from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm Monday-Friday, with overtime on Saturdays as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.67 - $19.67/hr.
